Establish Accountability - What tools did I add to my toolbox?
What one tool, technique or concept that you have discovered, mastered or leveraged has left you wondering how you ever lived without it? Do you believe that your current set of tools will last you a lifetime? No? Then what have you done about it recently? What classes have you taken? What conferences or seminars have you attended? You should be asking yourself monthly, at least, “What tools have I added to my toolbox?” Now, it may just be a new idea or approach; it may be one concept in a book that you find enlightening, but you must continue adding to your arsenal of mental and professional tools. So make a note, and set a reminder monthly to check on the tools you’ve added to your toolbox.
