Nourish Relationships - Get the right people involved
As you build relationships, you will start to realize that having the right players involved in the requirements process can resolve many future issues before they even begin. Politics can be minimized, surprises reduced and the right information shared. When the decision-makers reach consensus, that leaves very little room for others personalities to derail the project. This can be achieved by considering the “PRRRRRR” principal, PRACTICE bringing the RIGHT people together, asking the RIGHT questions, leveraging the RIGHT data, having the RIGHT conversations, making the RIGHT decisions and ultimately delivering results with the RIGHT product. Bringing together the right people and facilitating the right dialogues earlier can help ensure success.
